This is Skye fiddler Ronan Martin\'s stunning debut CD. Recorded as live as possible featuring Ronan on fiddle and Jonny Hardie(Old Blind Dogs) on guitar this album has a wonderful warm feel to it. A great selection of tunes played with skill and feeling. The album includes many bagpipe tunes and Gaelic songs from the tradition and there are extensive sleeve notes containing stories and background information. The ‘jigs’ on this album will definitely inspire an impromptu ‘strip the willow’ on the beach!
