| Description: | The London Lasses and Pete Quinn celebrated their tenth anniversary in 2010 with the release of their fourth album, ‘By Night & By Day’. Reviewing the album in Irish American News, critic Bill Margeson called the band “the best female group in Irish music”. Over the past decade the Lasses and Pete have brought their unique sound to some of the world’s most prestigious festivals and concert halls. These include Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Glastonbury, Ballyshannon, Philadelphia Irish Festival and the Royal Albert Hall, where the band performed the first ever BBC Proms céilí as part of the 2008 season. Highlights in 2011 include opening the Cambridge Folk Festival and headlining at the All-Ireland Fleadh in Cavan. |
